I spent a very frustrating 8 hours last Thursday uploading my new book, Problem Pooch to Perfect Pet Book 1: Troublesome to Tranquil to Amazon. Uploading the Kindle version went smoothly – I was lulled into a false sense of satisfaction. Then I tried to upload the print version. Content file – no problem. Cover file – aargh!
The problem was the sizing. Amazon is based in the USA and their paper sizes are different to ours. For the inside pages it doesn’t matter because the margins are blank white anyway, but a full colour cover is a different kettle of fish.
However, I finally managed it, with the wonderful Gareth’s invaluable help on about the eighth attempt (I lost count, actually) and the book is now in the bowels of Amazon awaiting the green light.
So, by now you should be able to order a print copy from Amazon.
