This last year has been a challenge and for some this has resulted in a drop in our self confidence – in our day to day lives, our work and our dog training. We’re here to help you not just with a perfect pet, but about enjoying the journey and growing your own confidence
Become a Nose Nerd and watch your dog use his nose and amazing sniffing skills to track, scent, search for and find hidden clues – and become a Down Dog OBI Agent (that’s Olefactory Bureau of Investigation)
This week’s Talking Tip is all about why your dog stares at you.
Dogs are excellent at finding things, which is why teaching and playing nosework games is our favourite doggy activity.
Our wonderful Gareth & Tippi were at #Crufts2020 last week as part of the #NIRallyObedience team for the interregional competition. They did really well: Gareth came fourth in level 5, earning him a beautiful rosette.
We’ve added loads of free downloadable helpsheets with info on all sorts of doggy subjects, as well as our Down Dog Digest newsletters.
Also find our new Talking Tips – short videos on a wide range of topics.

Dogs are social animals. They aren’t pack animals, despite what some websites still state and base their training around. Dogs don’t form packs like wolves do, but they do form bonds within social groups. And for most pet dogs that group is their human family.
Sensible owners book a training course with their puppy, even if they’ve had dogs before, because it’s SO much easier to prevent problems than to deal with them once they’ve developed.
