News about new things!

Himself was all excited this week.

He collected his new car (new to him, anyway), fulfilling his long-held dream of owning an open top sports car.

After collecting it on Thursday Himself arrived home (having taken the long route back “just to try it out”) looking like a Cheshire Cat, with a grin almost wider than his face.

It’s quite sweet actually. But I have put my foot down with a firm hand to say no more cars until one sighs its last breath.

Anyway, over this weekend a number of odd purchases have appeared on my Amazon account:
A cloth cap.
Chauffeur driving gloves.
A pack of Marseilles soap.
Apparently the manual on the new car says it must be washed gently with Marseilles soap. Hence the purchase. The cap and gloves are self-explanatory. It’s cold on the open road.

I’m actually quite impressed that Himself has read the manual.
I tend not to bother until something goes wrong.

Some things don’t come with manuals.

Including dogs. (Although my book, Pesky Puppy to Perfect Pet, is a great manual if you want one!)

So most people just muddle along. Luckily, some dogs are very accommodating, resilient and forgiving and cope well with the mistakes their humans make. Others aren’t.

Sensible owners book a training course with their puppy, even if they’ve had dogs before, because it’s SO much easier to prevent problems than to deal with them once they’ve developed.

The very sensible owners join our PiiP follow-on course, too, to put everything they’ve learnt on the Perfect Pet course into practice in real life situations.

But the REALLY sensible owners have joined our membership group, Down Dog Devotees.  Our Devotees get a whole load of benefits including free continued access to PiiP, our regular Rally and Nosework sessions and our Masterclasses, reduced prices on any of our in-person or online courses, a private Facebook group, our regular newsletter, the Down Dog Digest, a monthly live Q and A session, a great welcome pack, and access to our private membership website.

The Devotee website has goodies galore on it, including training videos, help sheets, podcasts, our Q and A session recordings and much, much more.

Have a look at all the benefits of becoming a Down Dog Devotee here

Don’t delay – join today.
