Black Friday Madness: How to unearth a true bargain

I must admit I’m a sucker for a bargain. I’m attracted to 2 for 1 deals at the supermarket, love finding clothes at sale prices and adore using money off vouchers. I peruse the Amazon Kindle Daily deals every day for their ridiculously cheap offers. A whole book for 99p? Can’t leave it on the shelf. Which could be why my Kindle is full…

Some of the books are not great, if I’m honest, but amongst the many ordinary offerings are a few true diamonds which I might otherwise never have read.

Are you like me? Do you buy every book by an author you discover and love? I do. And I love many, many authors, which is one reason I have so many books; real ones filling my shelves—I have three shelves of dog books alone — and loads more on my Kindle account. (Yes, I have filled my Kindle, several times over).

It makes me easy to buy presents for, though my family roll their eyes when I ask yet again for Amazon vouchers. I read every day. I’m an eclectic reader of fiction and non-fiction and always have at least one book of each type on the go.

There’s nothing better than curling up with a good book.

Keep training,

Carol
