The other day I was, as usual, avoiding doing what I should have been doing and I was following threads of fascinating dog articles on t’internet.
I stumbled on a fascinating study from Zurich about dogs using deception to get what they wanted from humans.
The researcher Marianne Heberlein, got the idea for it from watching her own dogs. One occasionally pretended to see something interesting in the backyard to trick the other into giving up the prime sleeping spot.
So, she tested whether dogs can manipulate people to get what they want.
And that’s just what they did.
