Dogs may bark at various triggers when out on walks. The triggers can be other dogs or people, or noises, or activities, or almost anything.
Puppies start exploring the world by using their mouths is their way to find out about things, because they don’t have hands with opposable thumbs.
If your dog has a habit for barking and lunging at other dogs, or barking at everything that goes past your house, or reacting to every little noise then that habit becomes embedded and can be very difficult to change.
Dogs have a range of ways they tell us they’re frustrated in some way – barking (indoors and outdoors), lunging, or reacting to things such as other dogs.
When you start training your dog it’s like falling in love. It’s exciting, emotionally arousing and novel. It’s easy to become obsessed about the new activity
