There are many myths around why dogs cock their legs

This week’s Down Dog Digestible is all about leg cocking.

There are so many myths around about this behaviour. It’s not fully related to age, although many dogs start to do this behaviour around adolescence, both males and females can do it, and there may be some social learning involved.

We also bust some myths about neutering and leg cocking and we talk about some reasons why dogs do this behaviour – you won’t be surprised to find out that much of this is do with scent.
