Want a short and punchy course?

As you know, at Down Dog we are passionate about helping owners give their puppies the very best start – because it is so much easier to prevent problems than to address them later on.

No training for nearly three months until the next full Perfect Pet course is not good for current puppies or owners. We wanted to do something to fill that gap.

We’re also aware that it can be difficult for some people to commit to attending a six week course. Shift patterns, children’s activities, family matters – so many things can prevent that length of commitment to a course.

Of course, we do have our self-study course, available from our online Academy, but that’s not for everyone either. Especially for new puppy owners, who want to be with other puppies to help with that all-important socialisation, particularly as that is more difficult at the moment.

So we’ve decided to try something new and introduce our new Perfect Pet Primer. This will be a two session course over two consecutive weeks. Each session will be around 90 minutes, allowing plenty of time for puppies to have a rest when they need it.

We’ll cover four important basics in the sessions – walking on a loose lead, recall, not jumping up and handling your pup. You’ll get two accompanying short training manuals, access to videos of the games we teach to watch as often as you want, a packed goody bag and unlimited email support whenever you need it.

As with all our training at the moment, it has to be outside with appropriate social distancing measures, so remember to dress for the weather if you come to any of our events and courses.

We’ve had such a tough year, let’s hope for a mild, dry winter!

Keep training and stay safe,

Carol
