No-one can do things alone

I spent this afternoon lying down in a darkened room. It was either that or have a mega-tantrum and throw my computer out of the window and I can’t afford the second option.

I’ve spent two days battling with Facebook, trying to set up an advert. First Facebook decided that it could not allow me to proceed using my personal account, so I (re-)linked it to our business account. Then it decided that I would have to show I could follow Facebook rules and procedures for “several weeks” before it would allow me to place an ad.

At that point the darkened room beckoned.

All I wanted to do was to tell people about a free webinar I was running. It was for anyone who has ever thought about becoming a dog trainer or taking up any career with dogs.

Because I help people realise their dream and become dog trainers through my new Professional Academy.

Gabrielle contacted me a few years ago asking to come to watch my classes. She’s a social worker but had always wanted to be a dog trainer. She built her knowledge and experience by shadowing me for several months before setting up her own business. She is now successfully running regular classes and one to one training sessions and has a thriving business.

Gareth brought his puppy to me for training seven years ago. He enjoyed it so much he asked to shadow me – and now he’s my lead trainer and right hand man.

Wanting to do something and taking action are two different things, as I know from my battle with Facebook.

I want to help budding dog trainers to build their confidence and give them a proven path to success.

If you know anyone who might be interested in becoming a dog trainer please pass on this blog.

Thank you for sharing.
