Which should you do?
We all tend to look forward – the next set of exams, the next holiday, the next step on the career ladder and so on.
But sometimes it’s good to look back to see how far you’ve come.
We’ve been doing a lot of new things here at Down Dog. It can feel a bit overwhelming at times and the “to do” list never gets any shorter.
So this weekend I’ve taken a bit of a break just to think back over the last year.
And it’s been good.
I published my second book, Chaos to Calmish, with third and fourth books planned for later this year.
We’ve got a new website and we’ve streamlined our booking systems so that everything can be booked online.
We’ve developed more options in our Top Training services:
– We’re now focusing on our signature Perfect Pet course together with our follow on graduate course, Putting it into Practice. We want all dog owners to get the benefit of these courses so they can truly enjoy their dog and have a perfect pet
– As well as our in-person individual 1-2-1 training, we’ve added online training via video call
– And we’ve published our first online course, Wonderful Walkies, with more online courses planned this year
We’ve revised and revamped our behaviour services and branded them under my new name, The Doggy Doctor:
– We offer a House Visit package to help local owners with any behaviour problems they have with their dogs
– And there’s a new online Consultation Call option via video call so people from further away can still access our help – I currently have a client in County Clare
Our puppy/new dog packages have also been revised:
– our pre-puppy purchase webinar and handout helps people decide what dog is best for them
– we’ve great packages for new owners, with our Premier Puppy and Rehomed Rescue packages
– you can “go Plus” with either of these packages and get 25% off a Perfect Pet course
This range of offerings means that it’s easy to find and book exactly the help you need, when you need it.
Looking back has made me proud of what we’ve done. But there is still a lot to do.
Keep training,
Carol
