About Me: Carol Clark
I have the honour to be the first Kennel Club Accredited Instructor for Companion Dog training (at advanced level) in Northern Ireland and proudly use the letters KCAI(CDA)  after my name. I am currently becoming KC accredited in behavioural work too.
The KCAI is currently the only nationally recognised, credible and externally verified qualification.

I am based in the middle of the beautiful Ards peninsula in Northern Ireland around 15 miles from Belfast. I have over 35 years experience of dog training and behaviour work and there's not a lot I haven't seen!.

I also hold the Advanced Diploma in Canine Behaviour Management (with Distinction) and I am a Guild of Dog Trainers Master Trainer (GoDT 138). The Guild of Dog Trainers is an independent professional body committed to maintaining and improving the quality of dog training in Britain.

I am also a Member of the Professional Association of Applied Canine Trainers (PAACT 0011). PAACT member believe that modern trainers require behavioural skills and behaviourists must be able to handle and train dogs. Being skilled in both disciplines allows me to train and treat your dog more effectively.

In my younger days I competed successfully with my dogs in various dog sports including competitive obedience, working trials and agility. But as time went on I became more and more interested in training and behaviour. Every dog I see teaches me something! All my training is done only with positive, reward based methods.

My aim is for everyone to enjoy, understand, and have fun with, their dogs.
